Falls victim to sequelitis The first movie was cute and funny. This had very few funny moments and was a total let down. Mostly just felt bad for the guy and not in the good comedy way. Several times I fought back my urge to stop watching with the hope that it would get better. it never did. Sometimes sequels are better left unmade.
Kevin James's movies are made for pre - teens who have never seen a movie. "Mall Cop 2" proves this easily. The first thing one notices about the film is "WHY. ". Why in the world would you make a movie sequel after a movie so bad that is should've been a Hulu original movie? Kevin James's transition from television to film has been by way of pure dumb luck. "Here comes the Boom" was barely watchable. "Grown ups" is the kind of movie that you watch on regular television when nothing else is on. Then there was the original "Mall Cop" which was so dumb that even pre teens and their parents happily walked out of the theater on this one. The plot is simple Paul Blart gets a letter in the mail and is invited to Las Vegas for a security convention. Meanwhile his 21 year old daughter (who looks 40) gets accepted into UCLA but is afraid to tell daddy until the trip. Blah. Blah. Blah they get to Vegas and surprise surprise Blart gets entangled in the bad guys evil plans and has to save the day. There are no laughs along the way. Here is proof of how bad this film is. It came out this year and it's already in the $2.50 bin at Wal -Mart. "Worst movie of the year, if not of all time"

An unimaginative bore that lives up to the common notion that even comedy movies can even be non entertaining. It reuses old comedic clichés and plot lines that make one feel as though they are watching a less amusing version of the original. Don't watch it. I world seriously not recommend watching this movie. It was by far, the worst movie I have ever seen. The plot was terrible, the acting was horrifying, and worst of all, the jokes couldn't even reach "Uncle joke" status. The jokes are so bad, that in spots were the movie gives you time to laugh; you can't even smile. Thus, making the entire screen incredibly awkward. I do not recommend watching/buying this movie, you will feel as if you wasted your time.

It wasn't worth my time It lack conflict and it was so boring, didn't make any sense. I barely watch the movie, it put me to sleep. Also it wasn't funny at all. Also it has a bad, stupid ending. Don't waste your money or your time.

Ok I liked it but I think the 1st one was much better. I think most people would agree. But there is silly Ness that does come down to this movie and some that just is out of wacky and means no sense. So in all I'm 50% enjoining it and the other 50% is questing, confusion, and discomforts.

I was really looking forwards to this And maybe my hopes were too high ,but its awful. truly awful :( If the writing was even a little better and it could generate one laugh I'd be appeased but this isn't the case. There is the element of the daughters coming age that adds some depth but ultimately it falls WAY short. If it wasn't a Happy Madison production I'd give it 1 star but Sandlers grace is still worth something, I just hope its redeemed before its all gone entirely

I wasted my life I will never get my 90 minutes back. The movie was terrible. Kevin James character changed drastically from the first one. The plot was terrible. My favorite character is a guy that mostly sleeps in the movie. I will never get my time back.

What an inspirational journey I honestly thought life was a bleak and haunting journey that never ends. I used to be so depressed, but then I saw Paul Blart Mall Cop 2. The first PBMC was just okay, but the second one. Oh my God. Move over citizen Kane, it's time for citizen Blart. This is such a heroic and intelligent tale about how you can achieve your dreams, it's truly an example of life imitating art. The story of Paul is so masterfully told and the jokes would make Zeus himself chuckle. Will watch again.

Uh. I love ridiculous humor and slap stick. The first-ever movie was hilarious. This one, not so much. I think I laughed twice. Which is sad, because Kevin James really is a funny actor. He should have turned thus role down.

Hilariously bad It makes kevin james character more annoying. let me explain this humor in 1 sentence "hahhah look at him hes fat haha!!''. it has terrible cgi and did i mention hes fat. His (paul blart ) daughter is a brat more than ever andis supposed to be a teen stareotype. Dont watch it even if its for dree its still not worth it.
